A person can get from food fragments of genetic material

Chinese scientists have discovered that small fragments of genetic material from the food that takes a man fall in his blood, and can probably influence the activity of genes.
A group of scientists headed by Chen -Yu Zhang of Nanyang University, examined the blood of twenty-one volunteer and found it microRNA rice and other grains and vegetables, says CNET. MicroRNAs - a small set of nucleotides that do not encode any proteins, but overwhelming to some extent the activity of different genes - their targets.
According to the study, the blood of the subjects contained about 30 different types of miRNAs belonging to different plant foods. The authors admit that these miRNAs can influence the lives of our cells. For example, it was shown that one of the rice miRNA changes the susceptibility of the receptors involved in the regulation of blood purification of low-density lipoprotein - ...
It is known that lactose tolerance - one of the components of milk - there was adults only recently, after the domestication of cows. Chen -Yu Zhang admits that he found a group of microRNAs - it traces the adaptation of people to start growing and cultivation of plants. In his view, a new study shows once again how interconnected all life on our planet.
